The KPL introduces a fun new competition format where riders come together in teams with the focus set on showcasing the best most creative riding in a video part. By the end of the week prizes will be awarded to standout riders, best crash, rookies, best tricks and obviously the best team video!

About the event

The KPL introduces a fun new format to competition. Riders are distribuited in teams with their focus set on showcasing the best most creative riding in a combined video part.

Judging criteria / Video rules:

  • Quality / technicality of park tricks
  • Overall video edit
  • Risk of send
  • Creativity / innovation showcasing what kiteboarding is
  • ALL FOOTAGE MUST STAY OFFLINE TO SCORE TOWARDS THE AWARDS.
  • Team videos will be 3 minutes long.
  • Minimum 1 trick per rider in the team video.
  • Maximum 10 tricks per rider.
  • The idea is that everyone can session with other teams and film each other across teams to help each other out (as you would have a normal session with your friends)
  • Music must be free of copyright.
